OUT OF PLACE.
“Does your arm pain you much, sir?” asked a
young lady of a gentleman who had seated himself near
her, in a mixed assembly, and thrown his arm across the
back of her chair, and slightly touched her neck.
“No, miss, it does not; but why do you ask?”
“I noticed it was considerably out of place, sir,” replied
she; “that 's all.”
The arm was removed.
