Hail! God the Son! in Glory crown'd,E'er Time began to be,
Thron'd with thy Sire, through one Half-round
Of wide Eternity!
II
Let Heav'n and Earth, stupendous Frame,Display their Author's Pow'r,
And each exalted Seraph Flame,
Creator, Thee adore.
III
Whose wondrous Love the Godhead show'dContracted to a Span;
The Co-eternal Son of God,
The Mortal Son of Man.

To save Mankind from lost Estate,Behold his Life-blood stream!
Hail, Lord! Almighty to create,
Almighty to redeem!

The King Messiah reigns.
