Who join'd in Council to create
The Dignity of Man!

Restor'st, for earthly Eden lost,
An heav'nly Paradise.

To whom Isaiah's Vision show'd,The Seraphs veil their Wings;
While Thee, Jehovah! Lord and God,
Th' Angelick Army sings.

To Thee, by mystick Pow'rs on high,Were humble Praises giv'n,
When John beheld with favour'd Eye
Th' Inhabitants of Heav'n.

All that the Name of Creature ownsTo Thee in Hymns aspire;
May we as Angels on our Thrones
