[Each heart must own, each tongue declare]

“All Thy works shall praise Thee, O Lord.”—Psalm exlv. 10.

Each heart must own, each tongue declare
Thy works, O Lord, are wondrous fair;
For proofs are seen in every place
Of wisdom, goodness, love, and grace.
The circling months, the changing years,
Each with a varying grace appears;
And Thou dost keep the old world new
With blessings of the sun and dew.
