EPIGRAM.

Thus poor autumnal Delia said,
(As Delia in her glass survey'd
A withering neck, a wrinkling face)
“O ever hide the foul disgrace!”
Thus Delia said, and fetched a sigh,
The glass still ready to comply,
A sympathizing dullness wore,
And shewed her fading charms no more.
