Almighty Jesu, King of bliss,
Assumpsit carnem virginis.
He was ever and ever is
Consors paterni luminis.

Holy Church of him maketh mind:
Intravit ventris thalamum,
Fro heaven to earth to save mankind
Pater mandavit filium.

To Mary came a messenger,
Ferens salutem hominum,
And she answer'd with mild steven:
Ecce, ancilla Domini.

Thorow the might of the Holy Ghost,
Palacium intrans uteri;
Above all thing meekness is best
In conspectu Altissimi.

Three kings upon the twelfth day
Stella micante previa,
To seek our Lord they took the way
Bajulantes munera.

A star beforn the kingës ay;
Primus rex aurum optulit;
He is God and Lord verray;
Secundus rex thus protulit.

He was namëd the third king,
Incensum pulchrum qui tradidit;
He us all to blissë bring,
Qui cruce mori voluit.
