Plagues after Plagues? And yet not Pharoh yeeld
T'enlarge poore Israel? Was thy heart so steel'd,
Rebellious Tyrant, that it dare withstand
The oft repeated Iudgements of Heav'ns hand?
Could neither Mercies oyle, nor Iudgements thunder
Dissolve, nor breake thy flinty heart in sunder?
No, no, what Sun-beames soften not, they harden;
Purpos'd Rebellions are asleepe to Pardon.
