95. On Wine and Water.

Nature , and Grace, who ever tasted both,
Differ as much, as Wine, and Water doth:
This clenses, (if not grosly stayn'd with Sin)
The outward Man: but scowers not, within:
That cheares the heart, & makes the Courage bold,
Quickens and warmes dead spirits that are cold:
It fires the Blood, and makes the Soule divine:
O that my Water, Lord, were turnd to Wine!
