Of the great patience and clemency of King Antigonus.

When as Antigonus did heare,
His Souldiers curling him apace,
Because that in an euening darke,
He led them through a myry place,
That thence they hardly could escape,
He came himselfe to them vnknowne,
And very well did helpe them out,
which friendship when he had them showne,
He sayd now curse Antigonus,
That led you lately in the myre,
But pray for him that helpt you out,
Acording to your hartes desyre.
