The Forrest of Fancy | ||
A plaine description of perfecte friendship.
True friendship vnfainedDoth rest vnrestrayned,
No terrour can tame it:
Not gaining, nor losing,
Nor gallant gay glosing,
can euer reclaime it.
In paine, and in pleasure,
The most truest treasure.
That may be desyred,
Is loyall loue deemed,
Of wisedome esteemed,
and chefely required.
Finis.
