Of a Woman.
Lyke as a blocke thoughe it bee dectewith pearle and precious goulde,
If it no comlye shape or forme
or feature fyne doe houlde,
Is not to bee regarded, so,
a woman or a wyfe
Thoughe shee bee beautifull, and haue
no manners in her lyfe,
Is not to bee esteemed more
then is a brutishe swine,
Whom neyther goulde nor other coste
can make sufficient fyne.
