Our Saviour did prefer the Widows miteBefore the rich mens gifts: God takes delight

How great our love is, not how much our treasure:
Give all thy full possessions, but thy love,
Thy gift will an abomination prove.
Love makes cold water wine, small actions great,
And without love no bounty is compleat.
