The ape, did reache for Chestnuttes in the fire,But fearinge muche, the burninge of his toes,
Perforce was bar'de, longe time from his desire:
But at the lengthe, he with a whelpe did close,
And thruste his foote, into the Embers quick,
And made him, pull the Chestnuttes out perforce:

The hartes of kinges, then there is no remorce,
