By Em de Gant gratious fruite hee had
William the second, Walter the first, Alane
The second wch proved wise and sadde
& Geffray the second wch was a right noble man
To the wch second Geffray David kinge of Scotland gave Hedon,
& Oxencambe wch bee in Scotland and afterwards hee
Gave them to his fathers foundacion of Whitby
as they have evidence to shewe in theire Monastery.
