  • Mr. Gary D. Allinson, Bayard Weeden Professor of East Asian Studies, died September 14, 2006. Mr. Allison had been a member of the faculty since September 1, 1983.

  • Mr. Donald W. Ball, Associate Professor of Education, died June 15, 2006. Mr. Ball had been a member of the faculty since September 1, 1971.

  • Mr. James Lawrence Meem, Professor Emeritus of Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics, died May 8, 2006. Mr. Meem was a member of the faculty from 1957 until his retirement in 1981.
