RESOLVED that the following faculty members be and they are hereby granted leave of absence:
Mr. Simon P. Anderson, Associate Professor of Economics, without pay, for the period September 1, 1992 through January 15, 1993, to teach at Charles University in Prague.
Mr. Dennis W. Barnes, Professor, General Faculty, without pay, for the period June 2, 1992 through June 1, 1993, to serve as President of the Southeastern Universities Research Association.
Mr. Michael E. Brint, Assistant Professor of Government and Foreign Affairs, without pay, for the period September 1, 1992 through May 31, 1993, to teach at Kenyon College.
Mr. Avery Catlin, University Professor of Engineering, without pay, for the period January 16, 1993 through May 31, 1993, to continue to qualify for the phased retirement plan as approved by the Board of Visitors.
