THE RECTOR AND VISITORS OF THE
UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA

The Board of Visitors of the University of Virginia met at 4:00 p.m., in Open Session, on Thursday, December 5, 1991, in the East Oval Room of the Rotunda with the following persons present: Rector Edward E. Elson, President John T. Casteen, III, Adam S. Arthur, Robert G. Butcher, Jr., N. Thomas Connally, Hovey S. Dabney, Waller H. Horsley, Evans B. Jessee, Arnold H. Leon, Freddie W. Nicholas, Sr. and Jesse B. Wilson, III. Messrs. James J. Mingle, Leonard W. Sandridge, Jr., Raymond M. Haas, Don E. Detmer, Thomas H. Jackson, and Mrs. Jeanne F. Bailes were also present.

Elson, President John T. Casteen, III, Adam S. Arthur, Robert G. Butcher, Jr., N. Thomas Connally, Hovey S. Dabney, Waller H. Horsley, J. Thomas Hulvey, Evans B. Jessee, Mrs. Patricia M. Kluge, Arnold H. Leon, Leigh B. Middleditch, Jr., Mrs. Elizabeth D. Morie, S. Buford Scott, Jesse B. Wilson, III, and Thomas E. Worrell, Jr. Messrs. James J. Mingle, Ernest H. Ern, Leonard W. Sandridge, Jr., Thomas H. Jackson, Robert D. Sweeney, Raymond M. Haas, Don E. Detmer and Mrs. Jeanne F. Bailes were also present.
The Minutes of the meeting of October 4, 1991, previously distributed, were approved as corrected.
