OVERVIEW OF THE MEETING

The Rector asked the President to give an overview of the matters to be considered at the December meeting of the Board of Visitors.

After presenting his overview, the President announced that the selection committee for the new position of Architect for the University had suggested Mr. Harry W. Porter, Jr., Dean of the School of Architecture, for the position. Mr. Porter has accepted and will combine his new duties with those of his current job as Dean.
