The following resolution was adopted:

  • RESOLVED that the following faculty members be and they are hereby granted leave of absence:
  • Mr. Alex J. Baertschi, Associate Professor of Physiology, with partial pay, for the period January 1, 1991 through January 31, 1991, to do research.
  • Mr. Malcolm Bell, Professor of Art History, without pay, for the period September 1, 1991 through May 31, 1992, to assume directorship of the American Academy in Rome.
  • Mr. Hamparsum Bozdogan, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, without pay, for the period January 16, 1991 through May 31, 1991, to continue as visiting faculty at the University of Tennessee.
  • Mr. James R. Brookeman, Professor of Radiology, General Medical Faculty, without pay, for the period February 1, 1991 through January 31, 1992, for medical reasons.
