The following resolution was adopted:

  • RESOLVED that the following faculty members be and they are hereby granted leave of absence:
  • Dr. Peter Armstrong, Professor of Radiology, for one year, effective July 1, 1984, to do research.
  • Ms. Cindy S. Aron, Assistant Professor of History, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1984, to pursue research.
  • Mr. Rolf H. Benzinger, Associate Professor of Biology, for the period January 16, 1985 through February 28, 1985, to serve as Program Associate at the National Science Foundation.
  • Mr. Rolf H. Benzinger, Associate Professor of Biology, for the period March 1, 1984 through January 15, 1985, to serve as Program Associate in Genetic Biology at the National Science Foundation.
  • Mr. Edgar K. Browning, Professor of Economics, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1984, for educational leave.
  • Mr. John D. Casey, Associate Professor of English, for one semester, effective January 16, 1985, to accept a research grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
