• The following resolution was adopted:
  RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the following promotions be and they are hereby made at Clinch Valley College:
• Mr. George L. Hawpe, Assistant Professor of Political Science, to Assistant Professor of Political Science at Clinch Valley College, effective September 1, 1979.
• Miss Catherine J. Mahony, Associate Professor of English, to Associate Professor of English at Clinch Valley College, effective September 1, 1979.
