  • The following resignations were announced:
  • Dr. Michael Baten, Assistant Professor of Neurology, effective June 30, 1977, to enter private practice.
  • Mr. J. Taylor Beard as Academic Space Administrator, effective June 30, 1977, to return to full academic and research duties.
  • Mr. Deane K. Dayton, Assistant Professor of Education, effective August 31, 1977, to accept a position at Indiana University.
  • Mrs. Carolyn R. Fox, Assistant Professor of Nursing, effective May 31, 1977, to accept another position.
  • Miss Susan E. Hirsch, Assistant Professor of History, effective May 31, 1977, to seek employment elsewhere.
  • Mr. Ralph W. Ingersoll, Professor of Pediatrics and Associate Dean, School of Medicine, effective August 31, 1977, to accept a position at Baylor College of Medicine.

  • Dr. Susan G. Lazar, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, effective June 30, 1977, to pursue analytic training in Washington and to accept another position.
  • Miss Margaret P. Mandrillo, Associate Professor of Nursing, effective May 31, 1977, for personal reasons.
  • Mr. Jerry R. Moore as Chairman, Department of Curriculum and Instructor, School of Education, effective May 31, 1977, to reassume more teaching responsibilities. (Chairmanship only).
  • Mr. John H. Moore, Associate Professor of Economics, effective May 31, 1977, to accept a position at another university.
  • Mr. David S. Solomon, Assistant Professor of Architecture, effective May 31, 1977, for personal and business commitments.
  • Mr. Richard E. Speidel, Doherty Professor of Law, effective May 31, 1977, to accept a position as Dean of the School of Law, Boston University.
  • Dr. Donald E. Sweet, Associate Professor of Pathology, effective June 30, 1977, to continue present appointment with the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology.
