PROMOTIONS

The following resolution was adopted:

• RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the following promotions be and they are hereby made:
• Mr. John G. Blackburn, Assistant Professor, to Associate Professor of History, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1975.
• Mr. George E. Culbertson, Associate Professor, to Professor of Mathematics, effective July 1, 1975.
• Mr. Van W. Daniel, III, Assistant Professor, to Associate Professor of Chemistry, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1975.
• Miss Neva Y. Gibson, Instructor, to Assistant Professor of Library Science, for one year, effective July 1, 1975.
• Mrs. Betty J. Gilliam, Assistant Professor, to Associate Professor of Art, for two academic years, effective September 1, 1975.
• Mrs. Betty M. Humphreys, Instructor, to Assistant Professor of Business, effective September 1, 1975.
• Mrs. Lois P. Lowry, Assistant Professor, to Associate Professor of Education, effective September 1, 1975.
• Mrs. Rosemary P. Mercure, Instructor, to Assistant Professor of Library Science, for one year, effective July 1, 1975.
