GUMPRICH ESTATE
The President reported on a bequest to the Hospital of the residuary estate of Mrs. Bertha H. Gumprich for the provision of renal dialysis services or other treatment for kidney diseases. The Executor has submitted an accounting of his administration of this estate and requested that the University execute a Release and Refunding Bond as required under New Jersey law. Thereafter, the estate may be distributed to the Hospital.
The following resolution was adopted:
- RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the President or Comptroller be and either is hereby authorized and empowered to execute and make such instruments as are necessary to complete the administration of the estate of Mrs. Bertha H. Gumprich, deceased, including without limitation, a Release and Refunding Bond as required under New Jersey law, such instruments to be subject to the approval of the University's Special Counsel, and to do whatever other acts as are necessary to complete such administration.
