FACULTY SALARY SCALE
The following resolution was adopted:
- RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the general faculty salary scale for the academic session, as set forth below, be and it is hereby approved, effective July 1, 1972:

| Professor | $16,000 | $500 |
| Associate Professor | $13,000 | $500 |
| Assistant Professor | $10,500 | $500 |
| Instructor | $ 7,200 | $400 |
