PROMOTIONS

The following resolution was adopted:

• RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the following promotions be and they are hereby made:
• Mr. Stanley H. Botts, Associate Professor, to Professor of Commerce, effective September 1, 1971, at a session salary of [OMITTED].
• Miss Diedre H. Brantley, Instructor, to Assistant Professor of Music, for three academic years, effective September 1, 1971, at a session salary of [OMITTED].
• Mr. Ford W. Edwards, Instructor, to Assistant Professor of Mathematics, for three academic years, effective September 1, 1971, at a session salary of [OMITTED].
• Mr. Jack M. Holland, Associate Professor, to Professor of Education, effective July 1, 1971, at a session salary of [OMITTED], plus 20 percent for summer work, and [OMITTED] for administrative duties, or a total salary of [OMITTED]
• Mr. William J. Hooper, Jr., Associate Professor, to Professor of Physics, effective September 1, 1971, at a session salary of [OMITTED].
• Mr. Jimmy N. Humphries, Assistant Professor, to Associate Professor of Education, for two years, effective July 1, 1971, at a session salary of [OMITTED] plus 20 percent for summer work, or a total salary of [OMITTED].
• Miss Doris M. Kilgore, Instructor, to Assistant Professor of Physical Education, for three academic years, effective September 1, 1971, at a session salary of [OMITTED].
• Mrs. Catherine J. Mahony, Lecturer, to Assistant Professor of English, one-half time, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1971, at a session salary of [OMITTED]
• Mr. Augusto A. Portuondo, Instructor, to Assistant Professor of Spanish, for three academic years, effective September 1, 1971, at a session salary of [OMITTED]
