RESIGNATIONS

The following resignations were announced:

  • Mr. Charles C. Alexander, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, effective January 31, 1971, to accept a position at the University of Mississippi.
  • Dr. Oliver B. Bobbitt as Chairman, Department of Clinical Pathology, effective January 31, 1971, to return to full time teaching and Director of the Blood Bank.
  • Mr. Thomas S. Currier, Professor of Law, effective June 30, 1971, to accept a position with Mudge, Rose, Guthrie, and Alexander, New York.
  • Dr. Douglas W. Eastwood as Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology, effective January 31, 1971, to return to full time teaching and research.
  • Mr. Robert T. Greene, Assistant Professor of Education, effective January 31, 1971, to accept the directorship of the State Title IV Program.
  • Mr. George H. Lenz, Assistant Professor of Physics, effective June 30, 1971, to accept the chairmanship of the Physics Department at Sweet Briar.
  • Mr. Eugene C. Paige, Jr., as Assistant Provost, effective August 31, 1971, to accept the position as Director, Office of Institutional Analysis.
  • Dr. Myron P. Walzak, Jr., Associate Professor of Urology, effective May 15, 1971, to accept the position as Chairman and Professor of Urology, Creighton University, Omaha.
  • Mr. Ira Winarsky, Assistant Professor of Architecture, effective January 31, 1971, for personal reasons.
