APPOINTMENTS

In accordance with the resolution adopted by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia on 14 July 1945, the following appointment was announced:

  • Captain Joseph D. Hindsley as Assistant Professor of Military Science, effective June 1970.

The following appointments were also announced:

  • Mr. Houston A. Baker, Jr., as a Member, Center for Advanced Studies, for three years, effective 1 July 1970.
  • Mr. Charles E. Barrett as a Member, Center for Advanced Studies, for two months, effective 1 March 1970.
  • Mr. Richard L. Beard as Chairman, Department of Counselor Education, for one year, effective 1 September 1970.
  • Mr. Richard M. Brandt as Chairman, Department of Foundations of Education, for three years, effective 1 September 1970.
