LEASE OF TALLWOOD PROPERTY AT GEORGE MASON COLLEGE

The President reported that an agreement had been reached for the lease by George Mason College of two parcels of property in the City of Fairfax, Virginia, containing respectively 6 and 1.06 acres, and known as the Tallwood Property, from the George Mason College Foundation, Inc.

To confirm this action, the following resolution was adopted:

• RESOLVED by the Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the Chancellor of George Mason College of the University of Virginia, be and he hereby is authorized to enter into a lease on behalf of the George Mason College of the University of Virginia with the George Mason College Foundation, Inc. for two parcels of improved real estate located in the City of Fairfax, Virginia, containing respectively 6 acres and 1.06 acres, upon the terms and conditions heretofore negotiated with such Foundation; provided, however, that such lease shall be subject to the approval of the University's Special Counsel.
