Et vultus nimium lubricus aspici,

Chloe, in vain with study'd Arts,You strive a Charm to hide;
The Sufferings of a thousand Hearts
Those vain Efforts deride.
II
No matter tho' one Spot appearOn such a perfect Face?
The Sun with many more is clear,
Yet warms us ne'er the less!
