A poore man at the Tauerne was in place,Where his Atturney told his Clients case
Naming but Iohn a Noxe, and Iohn a Stile,
And, quoth th' Atturney, you must vnderstand,
This Iohn a Noxe is owner of the Land:
The poore man present; could not but reply,
Not Iohn a Noxe, and 't please you sir, 'tis I.
