Iudica me deus.
Psalme. xliii.
T.S.
He prayeth to be deliuered from them whiche conspire with Absolō, to thend that he might ioyfully prayse God in his holy congregatiō.
Iudge
and reuenge my cause, O Lorde,
From them that euell be:
From wicked and deceitfull men,
O Lorde delyuer me.
For of my strength thou art the God,
why puttest thou me thee fro?
And why walke I so heauily,
oppressed with my fo?
From them that euell be:
From wicked and deceitfull men,
O Lorde delyuer me.
For of my strength thou art the God,
why puttest thou me thee fro?
And why walke I so heauily,
oppressed with my fo?
Send out thy lyght, and eke thy trueth
and leade me with thy grace:
Which may conduct me to thy hyll,
and to thy dwellyng place,
Then shal I to the aultar go,
of God my ioy and cheare:
And on my harpe geue thankes to thee
O God, my God most deare.
and leade me with thy grace:
Which may conduct me to thy hyll,
and to thy dwellyng place,
Then shal I to the aultar go,
99
And on my harpe geue thankes to thee
O God, my God most deare.
