Beatus vir.
Psalme. Cxii.
VV.K.
He prayseth the felicitie of them that feare God, and condemneth the cursed state of the conteinners of God.
287
The
man is blest that god doth feare
And that his lawes doth loue in dede:
His sede on earth God will vpreare.
And bles such as from him procede:
His house with good he will fulfill:
His rightousnes endure shall still.
And that his lawes doth loue in dede:
His sede on earth God will vpreare.
And bles such as from him procede:
His house with good he will fulfill:
His rightousnes endure shall still.
Unto the righteous doth aryse,
In trouble ioy, in darkenes light:
Compassion in his eyes,
and mercy alwayes in hys syght:
Yea, pitie moueth suche to lend:
he doeth by iudgement things expend.
In trouble ioy, in darkenes light:
Compassion in his eyes,
and mercy alwayes in hys syght:
Yea, pitie moueth suche to lend:
he doeth by iudgement things expend.
And surely suche shall neuer fayle:
for in remembrance had is he;
No tidings ill can make him quayle,
who in the Lorde sure hope doeth se.
His hart is firme, hys feare is past:
for he shall se his foes downe cast.
for in remembrance had is he;
