The Restless Lover.

The Birds to wanton in the Air desire;
The Salamander sports himself in Fire;
The Fish in Water plays; And of the Earth,
Man ever takes possession at his Birth:
Only unhappy I, who born to grieve,
In all these Elements at once do live:
Grief does with Air of Sighs my Mouth supply,
My wretched Body on cold Earth does lye,
The Streams which from mine Eyes flow Night and Day
Cannot the Fire which burns my Heart allay.
