RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF RADIOTHERAPY ONCOLOGY
FACILITY AND EQUIPMENT

  • The following resolution was adopted:
  • WHEREAS, the University of Virginia Medical Center has need for a free-standing radiotherapy oncology facility and equipment to meet patient care service demands and to continue residency training in radiotherapy; and
  • WHEREAS, funds are budgeted in the Hospital's 1990-1991 budget for such facility and equipment;
  • NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Vice President for Health Sciences and the Vice President for Business and Finance be authorized to execute a contract and other documents to acquire a radiotherapy oncology facility and equipment in accordance with the appropriate State authorizations, at a cost not to exceed four million dollars.
