Argument out of ARISTOPHANES.
Cramulus a Just man, but now grown low,Consults the Oracle his life to mend;
Follow him first, that doth before you go,
The answer is, and he your Woes shall end.
He hasts this happy guide to overtake,
Who Plutus proves, a man long blind;
He strives at home this Friend his Guest to make,
And that this common joy the World may find:
Of Esculapius he by Sacrifice
Obtains his long lost sight for to restore;
That so the Fools and Knaves, and not the Wise,
And Virtuous, hereafter should be poore.
