MOTIONS FOR EXECUTIVE SESSIONS

• The following motions were unanimously adopted by vote of all Visitors present:
• (a) That the full Board go into Executive Session for the discussion and consideration of matters relating to gifts, bequests, and fund raising activity and for the discussion of legal matters which are within the University's jurisdiction; and a personnel matter.

• (b) That the Finance Committee of the Board of Visitors go into Executive Session for the discussion of investment of public funds where competition or bargaining is involved, for the discussion or consideration of the disposition of publicly held property and for the discussion and consideration of matters relating to gifts, bequests and fund raising activities.
• (c) That the Educational Policy Committee of the Board of Visitors go into Executive Session for the discussion or consideration of personnel matters involving the employment, assignment, promotion, salaries, and resignation of public employees.
• (d) That the Audit Committee of the Board of Visitors go into Executive Session for the discussion and evaluation of University departments or schools.
• (e) That the Buildings and Grounds Committee of the Board of Visitors go into Executive Session to discuss a contract for services.

Following a recess for an Executive Session of the Board of Visitors, the Open Meeting continued at 10:38 a.m., October 4th.
