REPORT OF THE HOSPITAL ACCOUNTS COMMITTEE

• The following resolution was adopted:
  RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the Hospital Accounts Committee be and it is hereby authorized to write off as bad debts and free service accounts listed on University of Virginia Hospital schedule numbers 374, 377, and 380, for the months of May, June, and July, 1980, totaling $3,908,752.67, and Blue Ridge Hospital Division schedule numbers 443 through 448 for the months of March, April, May, and June 1980, totaling $980,303.91, consisting of the following:
       

  University of Virginia Hospital:
  Bad Debts	$ 974,014.81
  Free Service to Counties & Cities	$2,934,737.86

  Total	$3,908,752.67

• RESOLVED FURTHER, that the above action shall not be a compromise, settlement or discharge of the debts represented by such accounts.
