Hur.Now by the gods, Magnus, discourteous knight,
By craven conduct hath achieved our woe,
Expending all the tall men in the fight
And placing valorous men where dregs might go.
Since then our fortune thus hath turnèd so,
Gather the soldiers left to future shappe,
To some new place for safety we will go,
In future day we will have better hap.
Sound the loud slogan for a quick forloyne,
Let all the Dacians quickly to our banner join.
