- The following resolution was adopted:
RESOLVED that the following faculty members be and they are hereby granted leave of absence: - Mr. Malcolm Bell, Professor of Art History, for the period September 1, 1989 through May 31, 1990, with partial pay, to do research.
- Mr. Robert W. Collin, Assistant Professor of Planning, for the period September 1, 1989 through January 15, 1990, with partial pay, to be Visiting Senior Lecturer at the University of Auckland.
- Mr. Sergio Conetti, Professor of Physics, for the period September 1, 1989 through January 15, 1990, without pay, to do research.
- Mr. Fred A. Diehl, Associate Professor of Biology, for the period September 1, 1989 through January 15, 1990, without pay, for educational purposes.
- Mr. Lionel R. Duisit, Associate Professor of French, for the period September 1, 1989 through May 31, 1990, with partial pay, to qualify for the early retirement plan as approved by the Board of Visitors.
