LEAVES OF ABSENCE

• The following resolution was adopted:
  RESOLVED that the following faculty members be and they are hereby granted leave of absence:
• Dr. W. Kline Bolton, Professor of Internal Medicine, for the period January 1, 1989 through December 31, 1989, with pay, to do research.
• Mr. Herbert Braun, Assistant Professor of History, for the period September 1, 1988 through January 15, 1989, without pay, for personal reasons.
• Mr. Avery Catlin, University Professor of Engineering, for the period January 16, 1989 through January 15, 1990, with partial pay, to qualify for the early retirement plan as approved by the Board of Visitors.
• Mr. Bradley B. Cox, Professor of Physics, for the period September 1, 1988 through September 30, 1988, without pay, to do research.
• Mr. Leslie E. Grayson, Professor of Business Administration, for the period October 1, 1988 through December 31, 1988, without pay, to do research.
• Mr. James J. Kauzlarich, Professor of Mechanical Engineering, for the period September 1, 1988 through May 31, 1989, with partial pay, to serve as Visiting Professor at the University College of Swansea and do research.
• Mr. John C. Knight, Associate Professor of Computer Science, for the period September 1, 1988 through May 31, 1989, without pay, to spend the year with Software Productivity Consortium.
