ACTIONS RELATING TO CHAIRHOLDERS

• The following resolution was adopted:
  RESOLVED that the actions relating to chairholders be and they are hereby approved as shown below:

• (a) Elections of Chairholders

• Ms. Felicia A. Gaskin as J. Pretlow Darden Professor in the School of Medicine and Professor of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry, for five years, effective November 1, 1988.
• Mr. Michael Shur as John Marshall Money Professor of Electrical Engineering, effective September 1, 1988.

• (b) Re-election of Chairholder

• Mr. William B. Spong as John A. Ewald, Jr., Distinguished Visiting Professor of Law, for one semester, effective January 16, 1989.

• (c) Leave of Absence of Chairholders

• Mr. Juan Cano-Ballesta, Commonwealth Professor of Spanish, for the period January 16, 1989 through May 31, 1989, without pay, to be Visiting Professor at Princeton University.

• Mr. Michael Shur, John Marshall Money Professor of Electrical Engineering, for the period September 1, 1988 through August 31, 1989, without pay, to write research proposals.

• (d) Correction in the Date of the Leave of Absence of Mr. Jaquelin T. Robertson

• The following resolution was adopted:
  RESOLVED that the leave of absence of Mr. Jaquelin T. Robertson as approved by the Board on May 27, 1988, be changed to read as follows:
• Mr. Jaquelin T. Robertson, Commonwealth Professor of Architecture, for the period July 1, 1988 through September 1, 1989, without pay, to devote time to private practice.
