RESTORATION OF EAST LAWN GARDENS

The President reported that the Board of Directors of the Garden Club of Virginia had
approved the restoration of the East Lawn Gardens as the next project for the club. The project
would not become official, however, until it had been approved at the annual meeting of
the Garden Club in May. He stated that, following the expected approval of the project, he
would submit detailed plans to the Buildings and Grounds Committee and the Board for approval.
