KAHN, Herman (1922-1983):
leading American FUTURIST who popularized the use of scenarios to create models of the future. His controversial views and optimism aroused strong criticism but unlike many other modern PROPHETS they have stood the test of time. His books include 1979 and Beyond (1979), and The Next 200 Years (1976).
