'Tis wanting what should follow—Jove should follow;
But 'tis torn off—why should that word alone
Be torn from his petition? —why, indeed?

Quere, whether a word, with as much propriety, may be said to be torn off from a verbal, as from a written petition?—This I recommend as a question to be debated by a certain disputing society. Dr. Humbug.
