The PROLOGUE.
Gallants , we here present you with a Play,The Product of a Country Holiday.
'Tis usual now with Prologues to be Witty,
But we are not; good Faith, the more the Pity!
Our Play won't make ye Laugh, nor make ye Cry,
For 'tis a perfect Tragi-comedy.
We have no hopes for this our homely Treat,
But that for being short you'll think it sweet.
