but we xal make þe to skyppe
þou hast lost þi tonge þou mayst not speke
þou xalt a-say now of þis whippe.

Serys take þese whyppys in ȝour hande
and spare not whyl þei last
and bete þis tretoure þat here doth stonde
I trowe þat he wyl speke in hast
and qwan þei han betyn hym tyl he is alle blody þan þe herownde seyth
