The Argument of the Dialogue, entituled Deorum Iudicium.

The Troian Paris, being yet a Swaine,
Is made the Iudge of Ates golden Ball.
Three goddesses contend, but two in vaine;
Venus (faire Beauties Queene) prevailes 'bove all.
With Youth, her fraile gifts are more potent charmes,
Than Iuno's state, than Pallas Arts or Armes.
