The Argument.

Nature with too much darknesse overcast,
Is maskt and blinded with the worlds affaires,
Still doating upon things that cannot last,
As on vaine frailties fixing all their cares.
“Man that on mundane things himselfe assures,
“Cheats all his hopes; 'tis Vertue sole endures.
