62

ON SEEING SOME LEAVES FALLING IN THE SUNSHINE.

The end of the Just in these leaves we see,
Not torn reluctant from the tree,
When the gusts of midnight rave;
But kissed by the zephyr's gentle breath
They float in sunshine to the grave
And die a radiant death.
